The Man Who Thinks He Can

Greetings Loves,

When I write my daily inspirations I always ask God to give me a word to pass along. Today I would like to share a wonderfully written poem by Walter D. Wintel, The Man Who Thinks He Can.

If you think you are beaten, you are;

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you’d like to win, but think you can’t

It’s almost a cinch you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost,

For out in the world we find

Success being with a fellow’s will;

It’s all in the state of mind.
If you think you’re outclassed, you are:

You’ve got to think high to rise.

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go

To the stronger or faster man,

But soon or late the man who wins

Is the one who thinks he can.

Matthew 12:37 says, “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” There is life and death in your tongue so choose your words wisely. What you speak from your mouth sets the tone for your day or your life. Start each day with prayer. All through out the day speak positive things into the atmosphere as though they were so. God says,”You have not cause you ask not.”  So ask Him diligently. Speak empowerment, encouragement, achievement, courage, gratitude, favor, and abundance over your life. Positive thinking is a  way of life. All it takes is for you to say I can do this, I can go back to school, I can open my own business, I can be a mentor to troubled youth, I can do whatever I set my mind to.

Once your mind is made up you will be unstoppable.  You can do this, what do you have to lose….but everything to gain. Whether YOU, yes YOU, know it or not there is greatness in you. It’s time to unleash what’s been there all along and walk into your destiny. Next time you see someone down or having a hard time look at them and say, “It’s going to be okay because GREAT IS IN YOU!” Be abundantly blessed and a major blessing to someone else.
