Top of the morning my Loves,
Today I want to start with a poem whose words are so motivational and encouraging. Invictus By William Ernest Henley.
Out of the night that covers me, black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever Gods may be for my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud.Under the bludgeoning of chance, my head is bloody , but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the Horror of the shade, and yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.
The theme of this poem is the will to survive in the face of a severe test. It’s not the circumstance or the test that defines who you are, it’s what you do after being faced with a test or trial. Nothing speaks volumes of who you are than your will to get back up after being knocked down. We ALL go through something! Either you have already gone through it, you are going through it now or it’s coming. No-one is exempt.
Today, I would like to encourage you not to give up…Don’t Quit. Whatever you may be facing, there is always someone out there who has it worse. Matthew 17:20 says, “And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place;and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Don’t quit! Inside you somewhere is a mustard seed waiting to flourish. You have this thing called Greatness and it resides in you. Don’t quit, keep pushing and never, never give up. Go out in this world and make a difference, make your mark. I know Great Is In You! Be blessed and a blessing to others.
