Blessed Are The Peacemakers

Good Morning My Loves,

Marvelous Monday! Today is the day for great things to happen. Claim it, believe it and receive it. That breath that you just took….that’s a gift. We have been blessed with another day of life to make a difference in this world. Matthew 5:9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God.” This scripture is one of my favorites of The Beatitudes.

Now peacemaking is a divine body of work. For peace means reconciliation, and God is the author of peace and of reconciliation. Being a peacemaker is part of surrendering to God, for God brings peace. We abandon the effort to get our needs met through the destruction of enemies. God comes to us in Christ to make peace with us; and we participate in God’s grace as we go to our enemies to make peace. In God’s kingdom, it is a blessing to bring people together who are in conflict. Only then is it possible to resolve the conflict and restore the relationships. A peacemaker above all is a person that experiences the peace of God because he himself is at peace.

If someone is not happy or at peace with themselves it is often second nature to want to sow discord, disconnect and detachment among others. If you always find yourself among chaos and ┬ácommotion chances are it’s time for you to re-evaluate your character. What you allow consumes you. If you allow negativity and negative people to make more withdrawals than deposits in your life, you will be out of balance and in the negative. Know when to close the account and move on. The less you respond to negativity the more peaceful you will become. You cannot surround yourself with negativity and expect a positive environment. Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace. Know God….know peace. No God….no peace. At the end of the day you know you have made the right decisions if you have peace in your heart.

Today, go out in this world with a peaceful heart. Let nothing or anyone alter your attitude. There is no softer pillow at night than a clear conscience and heart. Be abundantly blessed with peace in your heart and spread peace to others. I know you can do this because…..Great Peace Is in You!
